Employment Opportunity
Brent Lovelock and Anna Carr are commencing a three year Marsden funded project entitled “Bad Nature”, examining the socio-cultural values of invasive species. We are excited about the opportunity to employ someone in an RA position to work alongside us. The position might extend to a full three years depending on the successful candidate’s circumstances. Leah and Rob have just been to the NZ launch of Thank you, an Australian Social Business. The start-up is entirely dedicated to social good and operates with a business model where 100% of proceeds go to social projects. They started with a range of breakfast cereals/water and took on and elbowed out some mainstream suppliers before moving on to nappies and now body care products. Their new products will be in supermarkets this week!
Given their pledge to help eradicate poverty, we are very keen to support them.
