eLearning has recently added to its inventory of iPads that are available for loan and now offers the loan of iPad Minis with Retina display to university staff.
A staff member can borrow one iPad Mini at a time and eLearning has a pool of 4 devices available. The devices are a great way to complete proof-of-concept testing without the need for a department to invest in a device.
The iPad Minis are provided with a “Wipe and Charge” policy which means that the devices are provided with no apps or settings pre-installed; this is the responsibility of the loanee to complete. This differs from the class sets of iPads which can be configured with custom settings and Apps pre-installed before they are provided to the customer.
