The full programme for this year’s symposium is now available ( 2024 Programme )  Check out the offerings, and remember that registration is free, but required to enable us to plan for catering.  What that means in practical terms is that we need to know if you plan to attend no later than 12 November, because Union Catering requires 10 days’ notice.  The good aspect of that is that you can indicate dietary requirements and the caterers will have something suitable available for you.  But it also means you cannot adopt the usual Dunedin policy and wait until the last minute to decide.  On the other hand, please don’t register just on the off chance that might attend, because if we have too many no-shows, we would have to look at adding a registration fee to help achieve accurate numbers.

Our hope is that the programme is so enticing that you’ll be certain you want to be there.  And if you are going to be away or wish to hear talks but are not in Dunedin, have no fear–the symposium will be recorded and released later via this blog to those who write to books@otago.ac.nz to request access.
