Professor Hank Weiss, Director, has over 27 years of experience in injury epidemiology. Before joining IPRU in 2009, Professor Weiss was Director of the Centre for Injury Research and Control at the University of Pittsburgh. His most recent publications focus on youth motorcycle injury, trends in traumatic brain injury and foetal MV injury. He is co-authoring the Cochrane Review. Prof Weiss is known for his innovation. He pioneered the early use of the Internet in his field, developed the largest archive of electronic injury lectures, has influenced the development of several (US) national injury data collection systems, chaired several national professional organisations and has a well-deserved reputation for identifying important concepts well before the mainstream catches up.

Aimee Ward, MPH is an Assistant Research Fellow at IPRU. She is co-authoring the Cochrane Review and will serve as the coordinator of the AMHC.
