Quantum Meets Agri-Tech

On Thursday (August 14) Te Whai Ao – the Dodd Walls Centre – had a workshop on how Quantum tech and advanced photonics might impact on Agri-Tech and what opportunities.  Speakers included Dr Cathy Folay (previously the Chief Science Advisor to the Australian Government), Keith Gordon and Dr Steve Holroyd (Fonterra).  There were a wide range of participants including New Zealand’s new Chief Science Advisor to the Government, Dr  John Roche.

I t was also great to catch up with some KCG group alumni, Cushla McGoverin, Piumika Samanali and Chima Robert, who all attended the workshop.
