Congratulations to Fatema AhmmedIoan D. FullerDaniel P. KilleenSara J. Fraser-Miller, and Keith C. Gordon for their recent publication on “Raman and Infrared Spectroscopic Data Fusion Strategies for Rapid, Multicomponent Quantitation of Krill Oil Compositions” https://doi.org/10.1021/acsfoodscitech.0c00139.  The paper examines how data fusion at low, medium and high levels can improve the efficacy of Raman and IR spectroscopy in the quantification of omega-3 fatty acids in krill oil.  The work is in collaboration with Otago alumnus Daniel Killeen, now at Plant and Food, Nelson.
