New paper in Nature Communications
Congrats to Keith on his contribution, with Chinese researchers led by Prof Guiyin Xu, that looks at battery technology. The paper entitled “Electron displacement polarization of high-dielectric constant fiber separators enhances interface stability,” is published in Nature Communications. It uses a variety of methods to understand the processes occurring in lithium ion batteries finding that the use of separators based on a phosphorylated cellulose separator (PCS) enhances performance and reduces deleterious Li growth that can short circuit the battery and reduce battery life.
