Brandon has completed a BSc in Information Science at the University of Otago, and continues to study various subjects part time. Before studying Brandon has worked in industries as diverse as horticulture, fisheries, and defence.

Brandon has a keen interest in all things data, including database management systems, geocoding, process optimisation and automation, data warehouses, and machine learning. Typical daily tasks include ad-hoc descriptive statistics, preparing data for further analysis, linking datasets, preparing and running online surveys, automating repetitive processes, and generally finding better ways to solve data problems.
