The enduring legacy of whakapapa<\/strong><\/span>&#8221; ($823,000, Social Sciences panel) looks at how the knowledge of whakapapa can impact on health, with particular reference to M\u0101ori affected by the CDH1 cancer-causing gene.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.otago.ac.nz\/humanities\/news\/otago699300.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for more information<\/a>. Lachy Paterson<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Associate Professor <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Lachy Paterson<\/span><\/strong> is a principal investigator alongside Associate Professor <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Angela Wanhalla<\/span><\/strong> (History Department) on &#8220;<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Te Hau K\u0101inga: Histories and Legacies of the M\u0101ori Home Front, 1939-1945<\/span><\/strong>&#8221;
