Every year a conference is hosted by one of the MAI sites, and is an opportunity for emerging M\u0101ori and Indigenous scholars to present papers in a supportive forum, and meet with other doctoral candidates and established academics.<\/p>\n

This year the annual MAI conference was hosted by Te Kunenga ki P\u016brehuroa, Massey University in at the Palmerston North campus. Four PhD students from Te Tumu attended the hui. The presentations and networking opportunities were awesome. The hospitality of our hosts was amazing which we all appreciated.
