Student Care Hub

The Student Care Hub is the central point of contact for support and information for all students enrolled in the University of Otago, regardless of programme or location.

Within the Faculty of Medicine, student support is delivered through a coordinated, faculty-wide Student Care Coordinator model across all campuses. This strengthens consistency and responsiveness while maintaining local, relationship-based support.

This model supports the Te Kaupeka o Whaiora strategy and aligns with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 and relevant medical accreditation requirements relating to student wellbeing, safety, and access to appropriate support services.

 

Student Care Coordinators

Students based with the Centre for Rural Health are supported through the Christchurch Student Care Coordinator.
