Staff members in a teaching role who require access to the Student Desktop for teaching purposes can request access by contacting AskOtago with the staff username that access should be granted to, and a brief description of why access is needed.
Once access has been granted, you can use the Student Desktop in the labs or on your own computer as described below.
In the student computer areas
- When using the Student Desktop in a student computer area or lab, use registry\staff username and your staff password to log in.
- e.g. if your username was bonja07p, you’d type registry\bonja07p
On your own computer
- Access the desktop at http://www.otago.ac.nz/staffdesktop and log in with your staff username and password
- Follow the instructions on our Student Desktop on Your Own Device page to install the Citrix Receiver, but use the staff desktop link above, not the student one
