What is the Student Desktop?
The Student Desktop is your very own “Virtual Computer” that you can use anywhere in the world, with only an internet connection!
This allows you to save your documents at home, and then pick back up on them on the University computers

So How Do I Login at University?
Almost every computer you see at University will log in to the student desktop – all you need to do is enter your university username and password (The same password you log in to eVision and Blackboard with).
What Else Do I Need to Know?
You can store files on the student desktop - but storage is limited to about 5GB. Alternatively you can use OneDrive to sync files in the cloud where storage space is 1TB.
You can easily print from the student desktop to any printer on campus - to do so on the Windows student desktop, follow the instructions below.
- Click print as you normally would
- Select Black and White Printer or Colour Printer depending on your needs.
