These instructions are to remove the old mPrint driver.
To remove the new 2020 printer driver on a PC, you need to uninstall it from the printer driver list.
To remove it on a Mac, follow the Mac instructions below
Why Uninstall?
- You no longer want to use mPrint
- mPrint is not working as expected
- You want to install a new version of mPrint
Before installing a new version of mPrint, you should uninstall the old version to help ensure a clean install.
Uninstall mPrint – Windows
- Download the uninstaller from the mPrint Downloads page – it doesn’t matter which version you have installed, the uninstaller is the same
- Run the uninstaller
- Restart your computer
- Install a new version of mPrint, if desired
Uninstall mPrint – Mac OS
- Click the Apple symbol in the corner of your screen and choose System Preferences
- Click Printers & Scanners
- Select the mPrint driver – e.g. mPrint Dunedin – and remove it by clicking the minus sign
- In Finder, choose Go and then Applications
- Drag the folder Jaws PDF Creator to the trash
- Restart your computer
- Install a new version of mPrint, if desired
