Although Student IT is based in Dunedin, you may not be. In this section you can find information specific to other University of Otago campuses and sites, or to not being on campus at all.
Did you know that you can use the Student Desktop on your own computer? No matter where you are in the world, so long as you are connected to the internet you can access your files and all the programs on the Student Desktop just like you were in a lab.
All the general student computer areas use the same student desktop too, so the experience remains the same.
Our Computer Areas Outside Dunedin page provides a summary of computing resources available in Invercargill, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, as well as links to the websites for each area.
All of the University of Otago campuses use the same student printing system, so the same general information will apply no matter where you are. Students at the Auckland and Southland campuses use the exact same information as those in Dunedin, while differences for printing at the Christchurch and Wellington campuses are summarised on their own page.
Getting help and more information
Although you can always contact Student IT for assistance, the different non-Dunedin sites also provide some of their own information and support.
