{"id":640,"date":"2022-09-22T09:52:37","date_gmt":"2022-09-21T21:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/strandproject\/?p=640"},"modified":"2022-09-22T09:52:37","modified_gmt":"2022-09-21T21:52:37","slug":"strand-marsden-project-seminar-presentations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/strandproject\/strand-marsden-project-seminar-presentations\/","title":{"rendered":"STRAND Marsden Project Seminar Presentations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Green and Sustainable Finance (GSF) transversal research programme of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.institutlouisbachelier.org\/\">Institut Louis Bachelier<\/a>\u00a0and the interdisciplinary\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.e4c.ip-paris.fr\/#\/fr\/\">Energy4Climate Center<\/a>\u00a0(E4C,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ip-paris.fr\/\">Institut Polytechnique de Paris<\/a>) hosted a joint seminar 10.00am-11.30am CEST on Monday the 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of September, at the premises of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.institutlouisbachelier.org\/\">Institut Louis Bachelier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.otago.ac.nz\/accountancyfinance\/staff\/otago827229.html\">Dr Quyen Nguyen<\/a>, CEFGroup\u2019s STRAND Marsden Postdoctoral Fellow, presented their latest research on the topic of \u201cAsset-Level Modelling of Climate Change-Related Flooding Risk\u201d &#8211; parts of the STRAND project. The authors highlight the importance of uncertainty estimates when they relate to high impact public-interest decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the working paper has also been presented to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itc.nl\/research\/research-facilities\/labs-resources\/center-for-disaster-resilience\/\">ITC Centre for Disaster Resilience<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.utwente.nl\/en\/\">University of Twente<\/a>\u00a0this Friday (9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September), 11.00-11.45am CEST.
