{"id":128,"date":"2020-03-03T14:47:29","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T01:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/pcard\/?page_id=128"},"modified":"2020-03-03T14:47:29","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T01:47:29","slug":"cancelling-a-purchase-card","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/pcard\/using-purchase-cards\/cancelling-a-purchase-card\/","title":{"rendered":"Cancelling a Purchase Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If a Purchase Card is no longer required, please contact the Purchase Card team.<\/p>\n<p>Once the request has been sent to Purchase Card team please send the card with ALL outstanding statements\/receipts as soon as possible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchase Card team, Accounts Payable, Shared Services, PO Box 56, Dunedin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Purchase Cards may also be cancelled by the University for one of the following reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It has not been used for six months<\/li>\n<li>It was issued for a specified period of time or specific purpose and once that time has elapsed, or purpose has been completed, it will be cancelled<\/li>\n<li>Cardholder is moving departments and no longer require a purchase card<\/li>\n<li>Cardholder is no longer working for the University<\/li>\n<li>The University of Otago&#8217;s purchasing policies or procedures have been breached. This may result in the cancellation of the Purchase Card and also disciplinary action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the case of a card being cancelled by the University, a cardholder and their HoD will be notified by email.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If a Purchase Card is no longer required, please contact the Purchase Card team.
