Open the library that contains the document you wish to view. The library will be displayed.
Click on the Name of the document.
This will display the document in the browser using the appropriate Office Web App.
Edit a document within Web App
In the Web App, select the Edit Document tab in the Ribbon. Choose Edit in Word Web App or Edit in Word. In the Web App, the page will refresh with the document in edit mode.
Make any changes you wish to make. Only the most basic formatting functionality is available, but changes will be saved automatically.
When you are finished making changes, click the site name in the breadcrumbs.
Alternatively press the small grey cross in the top right corner of the document (not the Red one that will close your browser!)
Edit a document in Word
While viewing the document in the library, tick the box to the left of the document name and then press the ellipsis (…) to the right and choose Edit. (Alternatively, click on Edit Document in the Files tab.)
If prompted, click Yes to the confirmation message.
Microsoft Office will launch and the document will be displayed.
Make any changes you wish to make. Click the Save icon in the ribbon and then close the document.
Changes to the document will be saved back to OURDrive. If you cannot see them immediately, refresh your browser.
Convert to PDF
If you would like to turn a document, or a group of documents, into a PDF, select the file(s), go to the Files tab and select Convert to PDF.
