{"id":301,"date":"2013-02-05T01:33:39","date_gmt":"2013-02-05T01:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/openotago\/?p=301"},"modified":"2013-02-05T01:40:48","modified_gmt":"2013-02-05T01:40:48","slug":"mix-mash-2013-the-new-storytelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.otago.ac.nz\/openotago\/mix-mash-2013-the-new-storytelling\/","title":{"rendered":"Mix &amp; Mash: The New Storytelling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DigitalNZ have launched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mixandmash.org.nz\/\">Mix &amp; Mash 2013<\/a>! \u00a0This is a competition that is about encouraging people to be creative with material that is free and legal to reuse, remix, mashup, to tell stories by re-purposing \u201copen stuff\u201d in compelling ways.<\/p>\n<p>The programme for 2013 differs from the 2010 &amp; 2011 competitions. \u00a0In 2013 there are three deadlines spread out across the year (May, August and November). \u00a0This means entrants can plan and pace their entries and learn from what others are doing.
