Kia ora koutou,<\/p>\n

The Otago Medical School Research Society is proud to announce the\u202fCall for Abstracts for the Research Staff Award\u202fat the 274th Scientific Meeting of the Society.<\/p>\n

This will occur between 5.00 \u2013 7.30 pm on Wednesday 11th<\/sup>\u00a0June 2025 in the Colquhoun Lecture. An option for attending and presenting via Zoom will also be offered.<\/p>\n

To be eligible for the Award, you must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Have not previously won this award.<\/li>\n
  2. Report the results of health-related research that you have made a major contribution to, and which was performed while employed in this role at the University of Otago, Dunedin.<\/li>\n
  3. Be either:\n
      \n
    1. Research Assistant, Assistant Research Fellow, Postdoctoral Fellow, Scientific Officer or Research Fellow at the time of submission or have completed a contract in one of these roles within the last three months, or<\/li>\n
    2. Lecturer, Professional Practice Fellow, or Teaching Fellow, appointed to this role within the last 3 years<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The prizes for this meeting are sponsored by University of Otago\u2019s School of Biomedical Sciences. The winner prize is $500, and the runner up prize is $250.<\/p>\n
