Half the year has whizzed past, but we are pleased to announce the first competition winners of the year.<\/p>\n

For the Pat Cragg<\/strong> Summer Student<\/strong> prize<\/strong> held on 5th May 2021, there was a great deal of interest with 40 entrants!\u00a0 The following 10 finalists were selected:<\/p>\n

First Prize – Hua Shin Tan<\/strong> (Dept of Preventive and Social Medicine) for a presentation titled Cannabis and small airway function in mid-adult life<\/em>.\u00a0 Sponsored by the Otago Medical Research Foundation<\/p>\n

Runner-up – Jenna Tidswell<\/strong> (Dept of Medicine) for a presentation on Experiences of Using a New Blood Glucose Monitoring System in M\u0101ori Adults with Type 1 Diabetes \u2013 A Qualitative Study.\u00a0 <\/em>Sponsored by OMSRS
