After years of study at the University of Otago, I\u2019ve finally reached the stage of beginning my PhD! Over the past two years, I\u2019ve been part of the group using various spectroscopy techniques to analyse samples, including microplastics and forensic hair. Our project focuses on using spectroscopy to identify species through blood. This work will contribute to wildlife conservation in New Zealand, supporting wildlife preservation efforts and aiding wildlife crime investigations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_p2\">\n<p class=\"x_p1\">I can\u2019t wait to begin in March, and for those who are reading, please look forward to my projects!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, I\u2019m Lisa.
