Anam presented “Raman Spectroscopic analysis of Molar Teeth Samples in relation to Cord-Blood Vitamin D status.” This work examined vitamin D deficiency and elemental composition in molar teeth samples from participants with known 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels (25-OHD) at birth. Vitamin D deficiency is associated with reduced mineralization of dentine, particularly affecting calcium and phosphate levels. Low-frequency Raman Spectroscopy confirms the changes in the phosphate and carbonate ratios across all the samples in the dentine region.
