Congrats to Jervee, new paper in Photonics Research
Congrats to Jervee. She recently contributed to a paper in Photonics Research that used lithium niobate (LB4) to generate stimulated Raman scattering across a range of wavelengths. A millimeter-sized LB4 whispering gallery mode (WGM) resonator with a record quality factor was fabricated using single-point diamond cutting. Pumped with about 10 mW at 517 nm, it demonstrated four cascaded stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) peaks The work was conducted by Harald Schwefel and his team in physics under the auspices of the Dodd Walls Centre.
