May: Farewell and congratulations to Dr. Sinan Gai! Sinan defended her PhD in March and started work at the Ferrier Institute this month.
August: Congratulations to Dr. Robert Smith, who completed his PhD in the group earlier this year, he moves to University College London (UCL) to start his postdoc in the group of Prof. David Selwood.
September: Congratulations to Alumnus Dr. Richard Lamb for his position at Starpharma (Melbourne).
October: Congratulations to Emma Barnes who has received the University of Otago Sciences Premier Prize.

2018
April: Farewell and congratulations to Dr. Richard Lamb (first PhD completion of the group), who moves to the Ferrier Institute for 3 months then over to Ecole Polytechnique France for a postdoc with Prof. Sam Zard.
May: Congratulations to Robert who has received a Claude McCarthy fellowship which he will use to help fund his trip to EuCheMS, Liverpool and 22-ICOS, Florence.
