Set Up or Change Default Role

Your “Default Role” is the Role that Finance One will automatically open for you everytime you log into Finance One. Being able to select a Default Role will enable you to start work in the role you most frequently use straight away.

If you see a panel of workplace icons after logging into Finance One, this means that you don’t have a Default Role selected:

 Steps

1. Click on “Preferences”.

2. Open “General User Preferences” folder.

3. Click on “Default Workplace” folder.

4. Use dropdown list for the Default Workplace to find and select your Default Workplace.

5. Click on “Save” within the “Actions to Perform” window pane.
