Marsh restoration

Since 2020, I have been the Treasurer and Funding Coordinator for the Ōtokia Creek and Marsh Habitat Trust. We are a small team of volunteers who have

  • planted over 20,000 natives along the Ōtokia Creek and Marsh in Brighton, Dunedin;
  • organised over 20 community planting days, including family friendly events, volunteer groups and school groups;
  • received over $100,000 in funding from ECOFund Otago, DCC Biodiversity Fund, Lottery, etc.
  • received the Keep Dunedin Beautiful Community Shield award in 2022.
