I’ve been asked by the NZ IODP\/GeoDiscoveryNZ (formerly DrillNZ) office to update the email contact list to which they send things.
\nThe list of people they currently email is below. It does not = the addressee list of this email, which also includes those of you who are on our ‘scientific.drilling@otago.ac.nz’ mailing list. Note that I usually duplicate the emails they send on the Otago Scientific Drilling Blog (as I will this one), and if you think you can keep up with news that way better then you don’t need to also be on this list.
\nIf you want to be removed from the list, or added to it please email me personally by lunchtime tomorrow (Friday 26 May).<\/p>\n
Also, we need to provide an updated report on Scientific Drilling-related activities to the Division of Sciences by 31 May. Can you please advise me by Weds 30 May of
\n1. Any Sci Drilling-related publications you have been involved in within the last year
\n2. Any workshops or drilling projects you have participated in
\n3. Any funding you have been awarded to work on data or samples from Scientifc Drilling projects, even if this is only a minor component of the funded project. Does not have to be an official IODP or ICDP project.
\n4. Any Sci Drilling outreach you have been involved with
\n5. Any new postgrads or postdocs working on drillcore<\/p>\n
