@otago.ac.nz email users can join the group by navigating to their groups in the Outlook Web App (OWA) and clicking on the Join Group icon under the heading “distribution groups I belong to”. Leaving the group is also just a matter of navigating to their groups in OWA, selecting the group and clicking on the Leave Group icon.
External email addresses will have to be added first to our system as mail contacts by the service desk (email its-helpdesk@otago.ac.nz, cc virginia.toy@otago.ac.nz). You will need to email again to be removed.
As a group owner, Virginia Toy (Virginia.toy@otago.ac.nz) can control membership directly in OWA. Navigate to your groups page and select the group geology.scientific.drilling (scientific.drilling@otago.ac.nz), then click on the Edit Group icon.
