Her first book was\u00a0<em>Race, Maternity, and the Politics of Birth Control in South Africa<\/em> (Houndmills, UK: Palgrave MacMillan, 2004), and her most recent publication is\u00a0<em>Abortion Under Apartheid: Nationalism, Sexuality, and Women\u2019s Reproductive Rights in South Africa<\/em> (New York and Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2015).<\/p>\n<p>Associate Professor Klausen will give a public lecture on the topic &#8220;From Rights to Justice: The Ongoing Struggle for Women&#8217;s Reproductive Freedom in Post-Apartheid South Africa&#8221; on 1 March (Tuesday). Her talk begins at 5.30 in Archway 2 Lecture Theatre and\u00a0is open to the public.
